Corrosion inhibitor

Farwing Drilling

The corrosion inhibitor is a maleated tall oil fatty acid which has been purified by distillation to monomer content less than 5%. This product and its amine derivative are chemically stable at high temperatures and pressures. When neutralized with the appropriate amine, the corrosion inhibitor exhibits superior film persistency over standard dimer/trimer systems. It demonstrates excellent cost-performance advantages in down-hole applications as an intermediate chemical for corrosion inhibitor formulations.
